Privacy policy

Effective September 7, 2026

LocalClick is a Tinywave Labs product. This policy explains how information is handled on local.click, including our planning guides and tools, project enquiries, and business pages.

You can browse without submitting an enquiry. If you request a review or contact a business, we use the details you provide to handle that request. For privacy questions or requests, email hello@tinywavelabs.com.

Information we collect

Upload only photos and information you are entitled to share. Uploaded image links can be accessible to anyone who has the link; they are not a secure place for identity documents, financial records, or other sensitive material.

How we use and share information

We use information to operate the site, provide your account and published pages, respond to enquiries, deliver a requested checklist, process subscriptions, prevent spam and abuse, diagnose problems, and understand which pages and services are useful.

Deck project requests are stored and sent to our team for manual review. Internal notifications may contain your contact and project details and are delivered through email and Telegram. When you request a quote on a particular business's page, the request and uploaded image links are sent to that business. If a project request is followed up with a relevant service provider, the details needed for that follow-up may be shared with them. That business is responsible for its subsequent handling of your information.

Providers help us with hosting, content delivery, databases, image storage, email, sign-in, payments, analytics, and error monitoring. Depending on the feature, these include Cloudflare, Render, Supabase, Google, PostHog, Sentry, Stripe, email-delivery services, and Microsoft Azure services. Business details supplied for an AI-assisted page draft may be processed by the configured Microsoft Azure OpenAI service. We may also disclose information when required by law or to address fraud, security incidents, or legal claims.

Links to PaperPlan, advertisers, contractors, and other websites lead to services with their own privacy practices. Review their policies before providing information there.

Cookies, browser storage, and analytics

Essential cookies and storage support sign-in, security, and remembered choices. Other storage can remember the page or campaign that brought you here, or whether a checklist prompt has been shown.

We use Google Analytics and PostHog to understand page visits, interactions, and the steps leading to an enquiry. Analytics may use cookies or similar identifiers. PostHog activity can be linked to an account or to an email address supplied in a checklist or enquiry flow. Operational events about submitted requests may also be recorded on the server. Browser analytics choices do not cancel a request you submit or remove records already held.

Read how Google uses information from partner sites and PostHog's privacy information.

Google advertising

Where Google ads are enabled, Google and other third-party advertising vendors may use cookies to select ads based on your earlier visits to local.click or other websites. Google's advertising cookies allow Google and its partners to personalize ads using those visits. Ad services may also process identifiers, IP addresses, device information, and ad interactions for delivery, measurement, and fraud prevention.

The consent message, where applicable, provides details of advertising partners and their purposes and lets you consent, decline, or manage your options. Availability of ads and personalization depends on approval, your choices, location, and the advertising service's settings. Choosing non-personalized ads does not necessarily eliminate all advertising cookies or other processing.

You can manage Google personalized advertising through My Ad Center. Participating advertising providers also offer choices through YourAdChoices. See Google's advertising privacy information for more details.

Your privacy choices

Use the privacy controls below to revisit an available consent message. In regions where a message applies, it provides consent, refusal, and more detailed choices. If a message is unavailable or blocked, the links below and your browser settings remain available.

On public guides and planning pages, browser analytics may be enabled by default for visitors in Canada and the United States. We use a same-origin region check that returns only whether that default applies. This does not enable advertising. In other or unknown regions, analytics waits for the applicable consent decision.

You can turn browser analytics off here. We remember that preference for this browser and respect supported Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track signals. Allowing analytics here does not override a refusal in an applicable consent message.

Browser analytics choices are loading.

Storage, retention, and requests

Information may be stored or processed in countries other than your own, including the United States and Canada, through the providers used for the service. Those countries may have different data-protection rules.

Retention varies by record: enquiry and account records, uploaded files, email notifications, provider logs, and backups do not all have the same deletion process. You can contact us to ask what information we hold and request access, correction, or deletion. Some information may need to remain for outstanding service requests, billing, security, legal obligations, or resolving disputes.

Depending on your location and applicable law, you may also have rights to withdraw consent, object to or restrict certain uses, receive a copy of information, or complain to a privacy regulator. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request. Please do not send identity documents in your initial email.

Children

Our services are intended for adults planning projects or operating businesses. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can review and address it.
